A line of hexagonal corrugated drums that are a space-saving, lower cost alternative to plastic, metal, or fiber drums for handling various powders is available from Technology Container Corp. of Desoto, Texas.

TCC Hex Drums are a cost-effective replacement for plastic, metal, or solid-fiber drums in many applications and knock-down flat to provide a 10:1 space savings for efficient storage. Featuring one-piece construction, these corrugated hex drums erect without tape or glue, come in 5-55 gal. sizes and are rated up to 1,750 lbs. compression strength.

UN rated, TCC Hex Drums are manufactured from 275 or 350 double-wall grade corrugated with a kraft or white outside layer and can be printed with two-color graphics. They are stronger than square or rectangular corrugated boxes and offer better stacking strength. Custom sizes and special features such as hand-holds and other material grades can be incorporated.

Providing better product protection than paper boxes, TCC Techno-Boxes™ are water-resistant and environmentally friendly because one polypropylene box can replace hundreds of paper boxes. Offered in sizes ranging from 8” sq. up to 48”L x 24”W x 24”H, they can reduce distribution costs to less than a penny-per-cycle. Any CMGI color and two-color printing is offered.

A full line of reusable corrugated plastic boxes that are now offered with RFID (radio frequency identification) tracking for closed-loop systems has been introduced by Technology Container Corp. of Desoto, Texas.

TCC Techno-Boxes™ are corrugated polypropylene tote boxes that feature self-locking bottoms and tops which setup fast without tapes or glue and knock down flat for storage. Now offered with RFID tracking to provide complete accountability, these rugged boxes are lighter than molded plastic totes and can be reused for hundreds of cycles in closed-loop systems.

Especially effective for the distribution of high-value products, TCC Techno-Boxes™ with RFID technology let users track the number of times each box is cycled, its location, contents, and other factors; and can debit and credit accounts. These corrugated plastic boxes eliminate the transport weight and storage issues associated with molded plastic totes.

A line of reusable corrugated plastic boxes which are ideal for assembly, kitting, distribution, and disposal applications requiring a durable box that can be irradiated and subjected to a wide temperature range is being introduced by Technology Container Corp. of Desoto, Texas.

Techno-Box™ Reusable Corrugated Plastic Boxes are non-particulating, can be sterilized by gamma radiation, and used in temperatures from -10°F to 140°F, making them suitable for a variety of applications. Featuring all plastic construction, these corrugated boxes automatically set-up without glue or tape, knock-down flat for easy storage, and can be fully customized with internal partitions, insulation, kitting trays, handles, and RFID tracking.

Manufactured to customer specification from HDPE or HDPP in sizes up to 48”L x 24”W x 38”H, and 3 mm to 10 mm thick, Techno-Box™ Reusable Corrugated Plastic Boxes can be supplied in various colors with custom imprinting and special secure closures. Designed for use in sterile environments, they are moisture-resistant and can be stored in freezers.
